A Washington DC Graduation Photographer
Congratulations! Let’s celebrate your accomplishments with a session on campus or at an iconic location. As a Washington DC graduation photographer, I am kept busy every spring documenting this milestone for students are several local universities. Graduation sessions are typically 45 minutes for one person and include a style guide to help you prep, a sneak peek and 20 images of your choice (I send more, you choose which to download). If you want to include friends, or capture memories in multiple locations, we can extend the session and the number of images provided!
Erin took my law school graduation photos and they turned out stunning! She did a great job. We shot at the Jefferson Memorial and she knew all the best spots to get the perfect sunrise photos! She was very professional and responsive.

What to expect
I’ve worked with people earning their bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees and doctorates, and a few who earned master’s certificates! Whatever you want to celebrate, I’m here to help. Graduation comes with plenty of its own props (cap, gown, hoods, stoles, etc.) so you don’t have to bring anything additional. But if you want to celebrate with some school swag or fun signs, that’s great, too! The sessions are designed to allow plenty of time for whatever you’ve imagined.
While most grads are aiming for the classic cap and gown photos, I do recommend we spend just a few minutes taking some basic headshots. A nice headshot can be useful when job searching! As with all my sessions, graduate sessions include a style guide to help you prep so you arrive confident and ready to go.

Family members, including furry friends, are welcome to join you for a few photographs. If you want to bring a dog, we just have to make sure it’s OK at your location. My style guide even explains how to prep your pet!
