Portrait photography & Headshots
Having a strong image to introduce yourself to the world is so important to professionals today! Whether you need to update your resume and LinkedIn, refresh your business website or want some quality images for social media and networking, I can help with portrait photography or headshots.
A standard headshot/solo portrait session includes 20 minutes, one outfit, and five retouched images delivered to you digitally. Longer portrait sessions involving more than one outfit last one hour and include 20 images of your choice (I send more, you choose which to download). Depending on the scope of your project, you may also want to explore the branding photography options I offer.
I can help you choose an appropriate location to suit your needs. With portrait photography, options are generally what I like to call an environmental portrait or a studio-type session. An environmental portrait is located somewhere that helps tell your story; think a legislator outside a statehouse or real estate agent in a neighborhood they serve. With my background in marketing, I am happy to help you think through locations that work for your purpose.
If it’s important to have several people’s headshots look uniform, sometimes a studio-type session works best. I bring the studio to you, with lights, a background and everything else we need. Studio-type sessions provide a consistent look and feel even when the photos are taken on different days, or at different types of days (or even at different locations!).
