I first met Ian and Dawn when he proposed to her last fall at Rawlings Conservatory; they are such sweet, fun people that I was thrilled to work with them again for their Elkridge Furnace Inn wedding.

The couple chose Elkridge Furnace Inn as their reception location for its amazing food (I can personally vouch for that!).

From a photographer’s perspective, the Inn also offers quite nice getting-ready spaces in addition to the obviously lovely grounds; 10/10, I would work there again!

Ceremony at St. Casimir Church

St. Casimir Church at Canton & Patterson Park in Baltimore is an absolutely gorgeous church and we were able to coordinate a bubble exit, which is was so much fun and made absolutely stunning images.

Portraits during Golden Hour

The historic charm of both venues created exactly the classic timeless vibes they wanted, according to Dawn. When it comes to documenting all the most important wedding details and ensuring those vibes are captured, communicating with your photographer is key. I have couples I work with fill out a few questionnaires so I understand their wedding day priorities. But I also ask questions and encourage feedback as we go. Dawn, for example, loved the back of her dress so we focused on that more than I normally would in bridal and couple portraits. Speaking up and having a five-second conversation ensured she got the photos she envisioned!
